PRESS CONFERENCE “OUR BLACK SEA: NEW MONITORING RESULTS FOR DECISIONS”. ODESSA, UKRAINE

On July 29, 2019, the EU/UNDP-funded project “Improving Environmental Monitoring in the Black Sea: Selected Measures” (EMBLAS-Plus) jointly with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine will hold a press conference “Our Black Sea: new monitoring results for decisions”. It will summarize the results of field surveys in the Black Sea collected and analyzed by the project during 2017-2019 using the latest monitoring equipment and techniques and following the EU standards.
The event includes:
1)A presentation of the results of the environmental monitoring of the Black Sea, including new data on marine litter, found hazardous substances, native and invasive species of the Black Sea, state of the Black Sea dolphins’ populations, etc.
2)Opening of the exhibition of infographics regarding different Black Sea topics developed jointly with the Cousteau Society founded in 1973 by Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau.
