The other day a vessel presented by the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine arrived in Odessa.
Of course, this event attracted a lot of attention of the Ukrainian media. However, it has also gained considerable publicity in Georgia, a country with which Ukraine will continue to conduct joint environmental monitoring of the Black Sea through a new vessel.
The 8-minute TV coverage was prepared based on the material filmed by Georgian Public Broadcaster TV crew in Odessa and broadcasted yesterday, on 7th of November, 21:50, in their top rated analytical TV programme ‘Akhali Kvira’, as well as promoted via TV programme’s official YouTube & Facebook channels with a total reach of 74K+ people. The TV report has already gained popularity among Georgian audiences and collected 2K+ views in less than one day!
Additionally, the EU NEIGHBOURS east team has produced and published on the project website 3 news alerts in total around the vessel on 14th of September, 22nd of October, 1st of November respectively as well as created a dedicated Flickr album on the arrival of ‘Belgica’ from 21st of October.
Apart of this, the news on the vessel was promoted via EU NEIGHBOURS east social media channels in Facebook, Twitter & Instagram on the Black Sea Day, 31st of October as well as through YEA stories, resulting in 14.200 impressions in total.
