“Marine Diversity”- the Black Sea marathon for youth and adults

  • July 04, 2023

At present, the Black Sea in Ukraine suffers a lot from the consequences of the Kakhovska HPP blasting. Unfortunately, neither swimming nor even walking on its beaches is safe. But we always have the opportunity to bring our Sea closer to us. That is why we launched an incredible marathon. Every day, its participants will receive interesting tasks from different inhabitants of the Black Sea, which will allow them to learn much more about the Sea, its diversity, the safety of staying near it, and let them demonstrate their own erudition and creativity.

The marathon will be held in two countries – in Ukraine and in Georgia.

In Ukraine, 100 participants of various ages are invited to participate (there are no restrictions on age and place of residence). Anyone interested can register using the Google form – https://forms.gle/EjGttFkfzZXSmuMN9

In Georgia, we welcome 50 participants here: https://forms.gle/Kud8YxQt9XZkBCnh7

The marathon will start on July 5, Wednesday at 12:00 (Kyiv and Tbilisi time). Registered participants will receive a links to the corresponding channels. There will be 23 tasks in total at every marathon. Each task is given a day. Participants will receive “shells” for each completed task.

At the end of the marathon, participants will be able to exchange shells for gifts. Record holders for the number of points will receive excellent useful gifts, the rest of those who scored at least 100 points will receive incentive prizes. But the main thing is that we will all learn more about our beloved Black Sea!
