A masterclass on plastic recycling was held as part of “The Black Sea Mosaic”

This weekend, on Saturday, we once again gathered with the kids of the Black Sea Mosaic weekend school and held our lesson with full immersion in the topic of plastic recycling and saving the sea from marine litter.

This time, the founders of the Precious Plastic laboratory, Yevhen Khlebnikov and Nadiia Paniv, gave a masterclass.

Both groups gathered together to:

• learn how plastic harms the environment and our sea;

• learn about creative ways to solve the problem of plastic pollution;

• listen to the process of plastic recycling and see a part of it with their own eyes;

• to give plastic a new life and create new cool things from it;

• as well as to organise a marathon of board games from recycled plastic.

As a homework assignment, the participants will investigate how much plastic they use in their everyday life and look for places where they can properly dispose of it.
