Creation of mosaic from marine materials as the topic of the Black Sea weekend school

Our weekend school is coming to an end, The penultimate master class, held on 11th of October 2025 was devoted to the assembling of a large collective Black Sea mosaic.

Each participant in the master class could select whom to make – his/her favorite sea creature or any object related to the sea, such as a ship, underwater treasures and even sea mines. The mosaic was made from natural materials – shells, pebbles and sand.

Then all the works were combined into one large mosaic, which will be presented on Black Sea Day.

The master class was conducted by Odesa artist Sofiia Holubeva.
